In 2014, the Making Waves team worked with New Forest-based artist, Trudi Lloyd Williams, on a marine art project focusing on jellyfish and plastic pollution. The project raised awareness about local marine wildlife and encouraged people to help care for the seas by reducing their plastic bottle consumption. Workshops were run with primary schools and with families at public events in the New Forest and Sussex. At the workshops, participants made jellyfish sculptures. Trudi’s own huge jellyfish sculptures were exhibited across the region.
